This is a scene of a cloud building into a thunderhead. This is looking East off the Caprock about 5 miles from of Southland Texas. The Masa in the distance is one of the double mountains. The stream in the for ground is a contributory of the Double Mountain Fork of the Brazo River. At this time there was very little water. There are times it can be bone dry or fooding. all depends on the rain. The image occurred a little after sunrise in late May. 16”x 20”
